Our Vision
Our vision is “to be a leading university in education, research, innovation and entrepreneurship.”
This vision statement focuses on four key words:
- Education: The process of transmission of knowledge, skills, and character traits that lead to the award of an academic degree.
- Research: University puts a premium on research that invests heavily in research, and which consequently provides meaningful and extensive opportunities for our students and faculty to participate in research.
- Innovation: The process of creating something new and applying this creativity to come up with a unique idea or solution.
- Entrepreneurship: The process of identifying the opportunities in great innovations and applying the innovation to add value, and keep the value improving over a period of time.
Our Mission
Our mission is “to cultivate innovative leaders, managers and entrepreneurs for society.”
NUM is committed to develop human capital for society. The mission of NUM focuses on the following key words:
- Cultivate: in this context refers to educate or to develop human resources.
- Innovative leader: refers to the ability of a leader to inspire productive action during time of creation, invention, uncertainty, ambiguity, and risk. It is a necessary competency for organizations that hope to develop truly innovative products and services.
- Innovative manager: refers to a person who is responsible for managing innovative strategies, activities, and opportunities for an organization. This innovation is meant to impact the company’s ability to grow in the future and create unique value internally and externally.
- Innovative entrepreneur: refers to an individual who has the ability to undertake to create innovative products or services according to the changing demands of the markets.
